This document explains which personal data we process, why we do so and what rights you have. It is based on Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on Personal Data Protection.
1. Controller
The controller is MEVARO GROUP s. r. o., Veľká okružná 17, 010 01 Žilina, Slovakia, Company ID 57 408 343, registered in the Commercial Register of the Žilina District Court, Section Sro, Insert No. 89841/L. For any data protection questions, contact us at info@mevaro.sk or by post at our registered office.
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer as we are not required to do so by law.
2. Contact form and e-mail communication
- Data: name, e-mail address, company name (optional), selected area of interest and the content of your message. Data you send us by e-mail or phone is processed in the same way.
- Purpose: replying to your message, preparing an offer and further communication about possible cooperation.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract. Where the message is not related to a contract, our legitimate interest in replying to messages we receive under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Retention: for the duration of the communication and at most 12 months after the last message, unless a contractual relationship arises.
- Spam protection: when the form is submitted, we temporarily store a one-way hash of the IP address (not the address itself) to limit bulk submissions. The hash is deleted automatically after 24 hours at the latest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in website security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Providing your data is voluntary. Without contact details, however, we cannot reply to you.
3. Clients and business partners
- Data: identification and contact details of the client and its contact persons, billing details and communication related to the project.
- Purpose and legal basis: concluding and performing the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Retention: for the term of the contract and then for the period required by law. Accounting records are kept for 10 years under Slovak Act No. 431/2002 Coll. on Accounting.
4. Website operation and security
When you visit the website, the server automatically logs technical data: IP address, date and time of the request, the requested page and browser type. We process it to keep the website running and to protect it against misuse, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are kept for no longer than 30 days unless needed to investigate a security incident.
The website uses no analytics or advertising tools and loads fonts from its own server. See the Cookie policy for details.
5. Who receives the data
We do not sell personal data. We share it only to the extent necessary with:
- our web hosting and e-mail service provider to be added: provider name and address,
- an external accountant when keeping our accounts to be added, if used,
- public authorities where required by law.
We have data processing agreements with our processors under Art. 28 GDPR. We do not expect to transfer data outside the European Economic Area. If such a transfer occurs, it will only be made with appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR.
6. Your rights
- right of access to your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR),
- right to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
- right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- right to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR).
Send your request to info@mevaro.sk. We will handle it without undue delay and within one month at the latest. If you believe the processing infringes the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Slovak data protection authority (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky), Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, dataprotection.gov.sk, or with the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
7. Changes
We may update this document, for example when laws or the tools we use change. The current version is always published on this page.
